Less than one day to go.
Less than 24 hours.
I could share with you some more statistics about how many people lose their lives to cancer but I won’t. I think that the problem with seeing those numbers is that we forget the person behind the digit. That those 9 million people that died last year, some would have been daughters, husbands, children. Cancer affects people. Cancer steals life. Tomorrow isn’t about the numbers, it is about the people. This is an opportunity for us all to come together as a community, united against cancer. This is our chance to do some good. Show everyone that we care. Remember those that have lost their lives to cancer. Tomorrow is about being positive. Celebrating people’s lives. Tomorrow is about friendship. Perhaps you want to use tomorrow to text your friend that you haven’t seen in ages, perhaps you want to skype the friend that lives in a different country. Tomorrow is about friendship, and telling our friends that we care about them. Get online and share the hashtag #BloggersBeatingCancer and donate. I will be retweeting and I am hoping to see lots of you getting involved. Tweet me and share your stories. Tell me what #BloggersBeatingCancer means to you. Tell me who you are with. Share your photos. Let’s make tomorrow a celebration, eat cake, drink tea and celebrate friendship.
Let’s come together for #BloggersBeatingCancer. I will see you tomorrow. I will be attempting to do a Children In Need style compering, I might, MIGHT, give Facebook live a go.
See you tomorrow lovely people. Tomorrow we will make a difference.
