Ahhh, October, quite possibly my favourite month. It truly signals the start of autumn, leaves are falling off trees and we can finally dig out the hats and mittens. It might also be my favourite month because it is my birthday. My birthday everyone. Before you ask, a lady never reveals her age. Never. Don’t even try. I also love that October is the month where we turn the clocks back. Makes me think of Cher
“If I could turn back time”
Sometimes we have to embrace a classic bit of Cher. The evenings are drawing in and it is time to get cosy. This being the month of clocks getting turned back has been ticking over in my head. Yes, I apologise for the awful pun. Let’s keep this post ticking along shall we? Sorry. Anyway, the creation of our office is underway and I have been thinking that a nice wall clock might look lovely on one of our walls.
A clock can be used as a real focal point in a room and can almost be used instead of artwork. You can go for bright and funky, or perhaps a minimalist looking clock is more up your street. We can use a wall clock to bring personality into a room. You might want to think about whether you want a clock that makes a ticking noise, or will you find this annoying.
There is such a range of fantastic wall clocks offering something for everyone. What type of clock do you think you are? A bit cuckoo or perhaps a bit sleeker.
I have curated a great collection of clocks for the Island Living 365 shop. Now to decide what type of clock I am. I find myself being pulled towards the classic clock!
