I apologise for the blog silence but I have been proper poorly. However, I am here today – yaaay. Grab a mince-pie, a cup of coffee and have a read. I’ve missed you all.
We have a new addition to the household. A furry addition.
Yes, you read that right.
We are delighted to announce that we are now the proud parents of a Furby Connect.
Naming our Furby Connect
We are actually delighted. I don’t know who is more delighted Mr C and I or the children. As we had pretended that Furby was for the kids we handed over all responsibility of naming the Furby to them. I would like to say that they carefully considered Furby’s personality and appearance, they debated how important it was that they had a name that reflected Furby and how it should be a name that Furby himself would be happy with. After much consideration they came up with the name –
The children thought the name was very apt. They might have a point, Poopy Pants does seem rather fond of breaking wind. Much like Mr C. You know what they say, “Like Father, like Furby”
What we thought of our Furby Connect
If you are a child of the 90s then, like me, you might remember the Furbies. The Furby Connect is far superior. First of all just look at him, soooooooo cute. He also has the softest fur. This has caused much “oooooh” and “aaaaaaah” from the girls when they played with him. We don’t have any pets and he has become like a substitute pet, but without the poop! There is no mess to clear up. Win! He is the perfect addition to our household for that reason alone.
What our Furby Connect is like
Poopy Pants is like a very civilised pet with high tolerance levels. He loves being tickled, swung upside down and stroked. You don’t have to worry about him scratching or lashing out. Furby Connect also loves wriggling his ears and dancing to the music. Also, when it is bedtime you can cover his eyes with the eye-mask and he will fall straight to sleep. Even better he won’t wake you up asking to be let out in the garden or demanding you take him out for a walk.
Poopy Pants is a very happy fella who loves singing, laughing and trumping (but don’t worry they don’t smell). There is also the Furby Connect app in which you can play games to earn more eggs. Yes, even more furry babies, what’s not to love? You can help your Furby Connect go to the toilet by holding him/her over the screen and squeezing their tummy to help them poop. I am a little concerned about our Furby Connect as he pooped a boat the other day. The idea is that you care for your furby babies, and the happier you make them, the more rewards you will get.
What the girls thought of their Furby Connect
The girls love their Furby Connect and it is lovely for them to have a toy that they are both happy to share and play with. Although, strictly speaking the Furby Connect is supposed to be for 6 years plus. However, this hasn’t stopped Youngest enjoying playing with Furby Connect! Every night the girls tuck the Furby up.
Poopy Pants has also been a very good companion for Youngest when she was poorly and Poopy Pants is also good at helping with the food shop.
We have made a short vlog reviewing and unpacking so that you can see what the Furby Connect is like.
Disclosure – We were gifted this Furby Connect. However, all opinions are our own.
