I was thrilled when the lovely Emily from Petit Canard tagged me in the #LittleOnes tag. Thank you Emily! I have been meaning to ask Oldest some birthday questions. Emily did this on her blog and I loved the responses that she received from her little one. If you would like to take part then it doesn’t have to be your child’s birthday. It’s just a nice activity to do with your children. I have tagged three people to take part (names at the end of the post), but be prepared because you may get some interesting answers 😉
- Thank the blogger that tagged you and link to their blog
- Interview your little one using the 22 questions.
- Tag 3 – 5 bloggers to join the #LittleOnes tag
- Grab the #LittleOnes badge to add to your post or sidebar
Here is my interview with Oldest.
- How Old Are You?
I am 6, hang-on! No, I’m not! I’ve just turned 7 years-old. Yaay!
- When Is Your Birthday?
13th July. *Yes, Oldest gets that one right, of course 😉 *
- How Old Is Daddy?
I don’t know. I think he is 37 years old because he looks like a 37 year-old or 38 year-old. He is very hairy with his big beard. *Daddy isn’t actually this old, but he is in his thirties. I am now a little scared to ask her how old she thinks I am.*
- How Old Is Mummy?
I don’t know. I think you are 28 years-old *Yaaaaaay! Win! She has made me younger. I’ve always said that she is a wise young lady and clearly very clever 😉 *
- What’s Your Favourite Colour?
My favourite colour is yellow because I LOVE it. The sun is yellow, buttercups are yellow. Everything nice and happy is yellow, that’s why I like yellow. * Yet she is insisting that I paint her room pink! *
- What’s Your Favourite Food?
Spaghetti Bolognese. I love slurping it up (adds sound effects to demonstrate this) S…..L……..U…….R…….P.
- Whats Your Favourite Drink?
Lemonade. I’m not allowed it though. Only on very, very special occasions will you let me have it. Why? *I explain AGAIN that it is bad for her teeth* This causes Oldest to ponder before she replies with* What about Coke then? * I shout NO! *
- Who’s Your Best Friend?
My best friend is O and F because O is quiet and really nice. F makes me lots of stuff.
- What’s Your Favourite Programme?

- What’s Your Favourite Song?
History by One Direction *I am now running for the hills*
- What’s Your Favourite Animal?
Rabbits of course! I told you that earlier. They go boing, boing, and they eat carrots and lettuce and stuff! *I wished that this meant that Oldest ate like a rabbit!*
- What Is your Favourite Book?
Tom Gates. Everything’s Amazing (sort of) by L. Pichon. It has pictures, cartoons and it is really cooooooool and has funny words in it. It makes me laugh.
- What Are You Scared Of?
I am scared of ants! They are creepy crawly and you can’t see them and sometimes they crawl up your sleeve.
- What Makes You Happy?
When we get to go out for dinner as a family *such a lady that lunches*
- What Is Your Favourite Thing To Do?
I love writing stories and drawing things.
- Where Is Your Favourite Place To Go?
The beach and Granny’s bungalow. *Nice save there with Granny’s bungalow*
- What Do You Want To Do Today?

- What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?
I would like to be a blogger because I like writing stuff. *I am trying to persuade her that she could be a doctor 😉 *

I like helping Mummy do the food shop and writing the shopping list.
- What Do You Like Helping Daddy Do?
Daddy is always at work *I don’t think Oldest has quite grasped that we have to work to earn money* but when he is at home I like helping him build stuff with my Lego.
- What Is Your Favourite Thing About Mummy?
My favourite thing about Mummy is that she writes and that she won an award. I want an award too. *Flattery will get you everywhere* I also like that she makes me yummy lunches.
- What Is Your Favourite Thing About Daddy?
It is that he brings home chocolate for Mummy as a nice surprise. Then Mummy shares it with me. *I think Oldest is being very generous when she says that I share. I try to ignore the eyeballing and then reluctantly hand the chocolate over*
