  • Ahh, the sun is shining, barbecues up and down the land are being lit, and cold cans of beer are being opened! That has pretty much been us this weekend but minus the beer for me because I haven't had a boozy drink for 44 days now! Have I noticed a difference in my skin? Nope. Have I lost weight? Nope, I have replaced wine with chocolate. Have I felt full of energy? Nope. However, there have been some changes and I'm sharing them over on the blog (link in profile). Ps this rather lovely drink is my version of a mocktail made with @robinsons_uk raspberry, rhubarb and orange blossom juice, soda water and fresh raspberries. Poor Youngest really suffered with it and we had to rush her to the docs for antibiotics because at one stage she couldn't open her left (or was it right?) eye. I had my foot operation on Monday and I'm now not allowed to walk around for at least a week 😱 Luckily I have plenty of books to keep me company.   • I have just come back from the most amazing and inspiring bloggers' retreat run by @tots100. I was very nervous about attending but I'm so glad that I pushed myself to go. I loved the creative writing sessions run by @familyadventureproject I don't normally feel confident enough to share my work but by the second session I felt brave enough to do just that (even if I did add the disclaimer "it's not very good but"...It's still progress)💪 I loved every second of the weekend, from the early morning yoga through to the dinner in the evening. A lovely weekend in a beautiful setting with wonderful company. I have come away feeling inspired, empowered and a little more confident ♥️ We all need weekends like this. #flearetreat
