  • Hands up if you aren't a morning person 🙋‍♀️ I've never been a morning person, unlike my oldest daughter who springs out of bed at 6:30am 😲 I'm really struggling at the moment. I'm going to bed early but I'm still hitting snooze on the alarm clock 20 billion times. When I do get up I resemble a sloth. I move very slowly and require all the coffee. However, when we were in Amsterdam and I had this view......I was up at the crack of dawn. Funny that. Do you have any tips for getting up early? We had such a lovely trip, walked for miles and stumbled upon so many pretty sights. I would love to go back one day. ❤ I love Jersey but it is only 9 by 5 miles and some days you just yearn for a change of scene. Ecaping the rock and exploring a city was good for the soul. Plus, you can stock up on your shopping. There was a Primark with 6 floors. 6 FLOORS! We always have to watch the Elf film as soon as we hit December, our tree goes up on the 14th December, the day after Youngest's birthday, and I have to eat at least 10 Yule Logs before Christmas is out. That book is One Day in December by @josiesilverauthor This novel is utter perfection. Like a delicious mug of hot chocolate (or a cream cake!), not too sickly, not too sweet, just lovely and heartwarming. You will want to read it again and again.   • Ever feel like you're being watched? This was taken at the MoCo Museum in Amsterdam. They had a Banksy exhibition on and it was just brilliant. I love how Banksy's work forces us to examine ourselves and society. Banksy's work is also about hope ❤ and kindness ❤.
