  • I have just come back from the most amazing and inspiring bloggers' retreat run by @tots100. I was very nervous about attending but I'm so glad that I pushed myself to go. I loved the creative writing sessions run by @familyadventureproject I don't normally feel confident enough to share my work but by the second session I felt brave enough to do just that (even if I did add the disclaimer "it's not very good but"...It's still progress)💪 I loved every second of the weekend, from the early morning yoga through to the dinner in the evening. A lovely weekend in a beautiful setting with wonderful company. I have come away feeling inspired, empowered and a little more confident ♥️ We all need weekends like this. #flearetreat
  • It’s fair to say that I inhaled this novel by @hotpatooties. At the core of this novel is a great message - don’t follow the herd. I took that message a little too far when I was determined to find the perfect herd of Jersey cows so I could get a photo of me stood in front of them reading this novel. Those cows must have heard/herd (😉) I was coming because I couldn’t find a single cow on the island. I had to settle for this flat-lay instead. Pfft.   • Nope, I'm not constipated, this is my attempt at a selfie.🙈 I hate having my picture taken and this grimace was my attempt at looking either sultry or smiley. I can't remember now. I also need to work on my selfie-taking location, the car (I wasn't driving, obviously!) isn't the best location. However, there is a reason why I have put myself in front of the camera.   • “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” Eleanor Roosevelt. I’ve just finished reading this novel - Still Me. I loved it in parts, but I also found it a very frustrating read at times. However, I have come away from this novel thinking about life and what I really want from it. Don’t worry I’m not going to get all deep on you 🙈. It’s just made me realise that I should spend less time being preoccupied with the past. Instead I should be focusing on the now and my hopes and dreams for the future. From now on I’m going to try and be a little bit braver 💪 and that means I’m going back to school.   • It might be the first day of spring but I am still seeking sunshine and that means I am planning holidays. Getting off the rock can be expensive but I have lots of tricks and tips for saving money.
