I am still in complete shock. I am delighted, thrilled and honoured to be the winner of the Fresh Voice category in the BiBs. I just want to say a massive thank you to all of you. Yes you! To all of the wonderful people who voted for me, my lovely blogging friends who have been so supportive and the lovely judges who were kind enough to choose me. I am completely flabbergasted that they chose me. I would also like to say thank you to the other four amazing bloggers in the ‘Fresh Voice’ category. They have all been so kind and wonderful.
I really want to write more. I need to write more. There are so many words I have to say about the whole experience. However, I haven’t slept since Wednesday, my stomach has been churning since Monday and the vein on my forehead has been throbbing for about a month. Therefore, I feel like I need to take a couple of days to digest this amazing news. I hope that you will forgive me but I need to take a couple of days off. I just want to savour this moment.
I can now say that I have won an award. I have never won anything before! I can’t believe it. I feel very lucky.
I am now just spewing meaningless words of gratitude onto this blog post.
To sum up - eeeeeeeeks, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, amazing, wowzers, dreamlike, thank you, thank you, thank you, feel very honoured and thank you again!
I would also love to say thank you to the lovely BML ladies, Susanna, Jen and Nadine. Thank you!
I now need to hand this post over to two of the most important people in my life. They would like to say a little something for me. However, one is demanding her birthday cake from Brit Mums.
