I was shopping in Waitrose last week when I spied the bargain bin. I love the bargain bin (who doesn’t love a bargain), and yet again it did not disappoint because nestled at the bottom was the ‘Davina 5 Week Fit’.

It was reduced from £13 to £2.99. A steal. I’m a real fan of Davina and have some of her other fitness dvds and therefore I couldn’t pass up the opportunity of owning this one too. I also took it as a sign as I am trying to improve my fitness levels again. I thought that this would work well with my running as when I read the back it said the workouts were only 7 minutes long. Win! I should be able to squeeze in 7 minutes a day.

However, after further investigation and reading of reviews I realised that you are expected to do at least two 7 minute workouts and then there is the warm-up on top of this. I thought it sounded too good to be true. Anyway I won’t let this deter me and I have dug out my exercise gear ready.

These are my favourite leggings to exercise in as they fit well and they are snazzy looking and cheery. I need a bit of brigtness on my excersise gear when it is so grey outside! Spring hurry up and arrive will you.

To make sure that everyone can see me I have to wear more neons to match the leggings.

This sports bra does provide really good support but if I was doing a high impact sport like running I would recommend wearing a more supportive bra. Although sometimes I have been known to wear the above and another sports bra. I know crazy!

To keep me motivated I have to wear my polar watch. It is my must have fitness gadget and it really deserves a proper review. It is great because it shows your heart rate and records your progress.

So I have my gym gear out ready. It is purely psychological but getting everything out ready means that I am more likely to actually exercise. Watch this space as I will review the DVD.
