We have had enamelware since the 1800s. However, like tupperware parties, the classic enamelware can cause a sneer of disdain. Perhaps it brings back memories of your grandma’s kitchen, it really shouldn’t though! Enamelware has had a bit of an overhaul, it is now very modern. You can find bright and bold patterns, making enamelware the perfect choice for today’s family home. We should all be considering adding a bit of enamel to our home. Enamelware is highly durable and smooth. Modern advances also means that the colour doesn’t fade with age. Some of today’s enamelware is even shatterproof.
I have been drooling over enamel. I prefer the bold and quirky prints that can add interest to the blandest of rooms. Although white enamel is also having a bit of a revival. You can’t go wrong with a bit of classic white. Don’t feel like you have to keep your enamel indoors! Enamel plates make the perfect eco-friendly alternative to disposable plates. Durable enamel plates are perfect for picnics outdoors.
I have curated my favourite enamelware for all of you. Will you be adding enamel to your home?

Hey, lovely post. We have enamel lampshades as they look a bit retro. I know enamel stuff can have a rep for being camping goods! But they’re actually quite cool. x

I fell in love with enamelware all over again when I spotted some funky green VW campervan enamelware mugs at homesense. Love them! The blue enamelware jug in the top pic is lovely.

I love a bit of enamelware, particularly the Wild & Wolf range. It just adds a warmth to the home and nothing holds fresh flowers better than a white enamel jug, does it? #HomeEtc
I love everything that you have selected here, and really like the look of the white enamalware - very classic and classy, and looks like it would stand the test of time too. Also the patterned mugs are so pretty, I want! I’m going on a hunt for enamalware right now whilst I eat my breakfast. Thanks Emma for sharing a post this week with us at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x

I love the enamel mugs you’ve picked! I’ve got a few garden related ones and thinking about using them as planters. It’s on the ever-increasing to-do list though haha!
