17 Fun Easter Family Activities: Jersey, Channel Islands.

March 27, 2018

Ahhh Easter, that joyous holiday that signals quality family time and chocolate, so much chocolate, and very hyper children as a result. Those 2 weeks stretch ahead of us as we plan lots of lovely family fun activities. Monday, arts and crafts, Tuesday, make your own chocolate eggs, Tuesday …… etc. Who am I kidding? If, like me, you love the Easter holidays but are worried about keeping the children entertained on Jersey, don’t. I have been researching and compiling all of the fun family things to do this Easter. Stay strong my friends. I will make sure that we aren’t reaching for the Easter eggs, hiding away from Peppa Pig and friends, as we scoff the children’s chocolate eggs in the toilet, “no darling, I haven’t seen your last Easter egg, are you sure you didn’t eat it?” Bad mummy. No, this Easter we are going to entertain the children easily and without any stress.

I have found the best events and days out on Jersey over the Easter holidays and listed them out day by day. Yes, I’ve created a calendar with all of the best events. Now you don’t need to spend hours planning, you can simply refer to this post. So grab a cup of tea, put your feet up and see what fun things you can be doing this Easter.

Ecrehous Seafaris with Jersey Seafaris

the girls looking in rock pools

Jump on a Jersey Seafaris RIB and you will find yourself taking a thrilling ride out to Les Ecrehous, part of Jersey’s Coastal National Park. We went last October and the children had an absolute blast. It was one of those pinch yourself dreamy moments. We saw dolphins and seals, really close, which you can see in my YouTube video. We then had a picnic on Les Ecrehous. If you are visiting Jersey for the Easter holidays you have to do this trip. The guides are informative and fun, and Les Ecrehous is a fascinating island to visit with some interesting history.

So many great things going on in Jersey. My little one would love the aMaizin event as he’s obsessed with tractors. The most interesting to me is the bioluminescent one. I’d love to see something like that in person.

Wow! I had no idea there was so much to do. I have been to Jersey a couple of times with the girls. In fact we are heading back over in Sept although without the kids. I loved Jersey zoo when we visited. The wine estate looks interesting too, may check that out for Sept xx
