Disclaimer - please be aware that we were gifted these coats. However, they did not expect me to write this post. We were asked to review the coats for the Joules website.
Anybody that reads my blog and follows me on Instagram will realise how much we love Joules. Therefore, we were delighted when the lovely peeps at Joules got in touch. They asked us if we would like to road test their new coats. As my girls pretty much live in Joules stuff, and Oldest’s last school coat was a Joules one, we had to say
“YES”
The girls were delighted with the new designs and were spoilt for choice when it came to choosing one. I had to resist the urge to force them to choose matching ones. They now know what they like! No more matchy-matchy. Sad times. For the record I never set out to be one of those mums, the type that dressed their children in matching clothes. However, sometimes you just have to embrace it, twinning really is winning! I digress, back to the coats. Oldest chose a lovely pink one with a Dalmatians print.
As you can see she was delighted with it. It was a really nice, warm pink colour and the dog print is fantastic. A really cheery coat. Youngest loves bright and bold colours and she too was thrilled with her choice of coat.
Youngest declared her coat to be the prettiest but Oldest insisted hers was the prettiest. In the end we declared it a draw so that we could get to the serious part - road testing the coats. First of all we set off on a walk across moors and cliff-tops. Both the girls declared that they were warm. They were both very happy to wear their coats.
After much trampling over the moors and along cliff-tops, we decided that we really needed to test the coats further. We headed to the windiest part of the island - St Ouens. The wind can be really biting here so this was a real test for the coats. We walked along the beach and we explored the sand dunes.
There was not a single complaint from the girls, well apart from the odd complaint about tired legs. However, we can’t blame the coats for that. Not only are the coats pretty but they are really practical too. You can find out our final verdict on the Joules website.
Now to find out if they can do this in an adult size for me.
Please note that Joules gifted us these coats. However, they didn’t ask me to write this post. I just wanted to share our lovely coats with you all ?

So excited for you that you’re working with Joules, I think their clothes are gorgeous too! Such beautiful coats, great choices - the colours of Youngest’s coat are so vibrant and striking. Thanks for sharing and linking up to #dreamteam - great to have you! Xxx

I would love the pink doggy coat for myself!
See! I said Joules would want to work with you!! You’ve done a fantastic job too. I checked out the Joules website but I like that you have lots more lovely photos on here. The one of the girls together holding hands is super cute. So refreshing to see such bright colours instead of drab blue or solid pink coats. I couldn’t help a little snort as I saw the photo of eldest with her hand on her hip posing! He he! Fab! #DreamTeam
