I am now in week four of the Make Films course. This week saw me filming in timelapse. I am loving the course and I am really enjoying taking the time to develop a new skill, filming is fast becoming another passion of mine. I love it! Our prompt this week was to film in timelapse (which I stuck to) and to film wide (which I tried to stick to). I used the film to capture our weekend again and in the film I included somewhere we spend a lot of time - our dining-room table. This is where we congregate at the weekend, where we gather to chat, to do homework, to work and to play. Therefore the table is key in our life and it only seemed fair that I include it and show it some love. Finally, I have put myself in the camera, sans make-up, in my pjs and hair unbrushed. Keeping it real!
Also on Xanthe’s advice I downloaded the Hyperlapse app for the iPhone. It is brilliant and makes filming in timelapse really easy. Best of all it is a free app! This weekend wasn’t a particularly interesting weekend. Saturday was all about me trying to find an outfit for Brit Mums (don’t panic). It really was just a day of shopping! The plan had been to go to the beach on Sunday. However, in typical fashion the weather changed and none of us fancied sitting on the beach in the rain. Therefore, I was a little short of films clips for my weekend film! However I just about managed to make a short film that is just under 1 minute long. I hope that you enjoy this little peek into our weekend 🙂

Brilliant! I love watching people’s routines and everyday rituals. I love it that you focuses around the dinning table. Can’t wait to see next week’s challenge. ehat a fab course X #triballove

Thanks lovely x
Haha I love timelapses! I don’t know why, I think it’s because things move so quickly you can’t get bored and yet you still see everything…does that make sense?
Loving the pj’s!

Oh thank you for your really lovely comment 🙂
What a fun idea! I love this (although my favourite bit is actually the two random ladies walking really quickly across the square - they reminded me a bit of 1970s stop motion cartoons like Trumpton).

This is a really cool glimpse into your weekend. I have never taken a time lapse video before but it looks really cool. Always love seeing what new things you have learned from your class. Thanks for sharing this! And I love that you put yourself in the video in your pajamas. #TribalLove
