By now I should have my skin sussed, yet I don’t. I am in my thirties and I still get the big angry pimples of a teenager. It can be a bit embarrassing to be wandering around with, what looks like, the Channel Islands on your chin.
Your first response is to hide your face. However, touching your face is the last thing that you should do! Sometimes spots can be caused by not drinking enough water, yet I drink plenty of water. I am known as a real water guzzler. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that perhaps my skin care needed an overhaul. I was delighted when Green People offered to send me the latest products from their sensitive skin range.
I wanted to leave it a month before I did my review, so that I could give an honest appraisal of whether I felt that they helped my skin.

Calming Serum for Sensitive Skin 5oml - £17.50
I have used serums before but found that they clogged up my pores and my skin has been left feeling oily. However, I can say that this has not been the case with this serum. My skin is now looking far clearer. I also think it is looking firmer and that it has helped with lessening the appearance of fine wrinkles. According to Green People, “it delivers hydration to the deeper skin layers, helping to fight the wrinkles at their source.” It is also very soothing. It has reduced the redness of my angry spot. In fact, I have no spots at the moment (touch wood). I put the serum on at the end of a long day, after removing my make-up, and it feels like a nice treat for my skin. I then let it sink in before putting on some moisturiser.

A Light Day Cream for Sensitive Skin 5oml - £16.50
Again, I often struggle with moisturisers. The moisturiser I had been using was one that was reduced in the supermarket. I should have known better. It was far too heavy for my skin, took an age to rub in and then left my skin feeling greasy. This would then make applying make-up tricky. Make-up sliding off your face is never a good look 😉 . The new Light Day Cream from Green People was a very different story. It felt light-weight and my skin could breathe again. The lovely peeps at Green People say that this is the perfect cream for the spring and summer months. I would have to agree. This was ideal for me.
I have been very happy with both of these products as I have noticed a real change in my skin. Make-up is now going on easier (although I am happy to wear no make-up as my skin is looking so much better). At the moment, my skin is looking very healthy and blemish free, fingers crossed it continues.
These products are effective, luxurious skin care without the expensive price tag!
You can either order these products direct from Green People. For details of local stockists check out their website.

Haha! The skin care has made a difference though. Even my mum remarked my skin is looking better. She is not easily impressed! 🙂
I love the Green People, might have to give these a try. My skin is a nightmare, it gets so oily yet dry in winter and I get terrible spots, far worse than when I was a teenager! x #KCACOLS

You should try them! They have been fab for my skin.
Oooo these sound like something I may have to try! My usual skincare doesn’t really seem to be doing it’s thing at the moment and who has time for makeup?! 🙂 #KCACOLS
Exactly. life is too shot! Just use the skin care 🙂
These look fab - I also struggle with my skin and have noticed quite a few spots lately. But I am definitely an offender of not drinking enough water (if any at all eeeek) so I know I need to get better at that. Sounds like great products as I do find serums and moisturisers so oily for my skin. Thanks for sharing and for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next Sunday xx

They are brilliant!
I need a new face, never mind a new skin cream! I have to be ultra careful with my skin as it is really sensitive. I’ve been really happy with Boots Protect and Perfect and so probably wouldn’t change. However, for those who haven’t found something or who don’t have a regular beauty regime (I may not use a lot of makeup but moisturizers are so important) should have a good think about trying these out based on your experiences.
#KCACOLS Doh!
These look really fab and I they way more affordable than my caudalie face cream. Will need to try them out. #EatSleepBlogRT
You should! They are a fab price too 🙂
LOVE LOVE LOVE Green people makeup and creams. I’m a big adorer of their CC Cream, it IS my perfect foundation. Thanks for pushing Organic beauty, it really is the way forward (: #EatSleepBogRT
They are amazing 🙂 Thanks for your comment x
I’m always on the hunt for new and natural skincare products and these sound lovely! My skin is easily irritated, so calming is good. So pleased that these have worked so well for you! #KCACOLS

Sounds like these products were a perfect match for your skin. I was so into looking after my skin before Pudding and now I barely manage to put a moisturiser on! I need to get back to, maybe I will try these 😉 #EatSleepBlogRT

Oooh these look great! I have horribly dry and sensitive skin and I am terrible for buying moisturiser on offer somewhere and it not being suitable. Although I have found the right make up moisturiser is an issue but I do love using a serum especially on my nose area where it’s really dry #kcacols

I really love Green People, they are one of my favourite brands. I try only to use non toxic and cruelty free products and Green People are great for that. I’ll have to check these ones out. I too am in my 30s and suffer from oily skin with occasional spots.
